Bucharest, June 18th 2026 – Pan-european real estate developer VGP is strengthening its local footprint by securing two major lease transactions with leaders in the automotive retail and FMCG sectors. These new partnerships with Ursus Breweries and ePiesa consolidate VGP’s presence on the Romanian market through the delivery of modern industrial spaces in key locations across the country.
Ursus Breweries leases 22,000 m² at VGP Park Brașov
As part of its operations in the central region of the country, Ursus Breweries, the largest beer producer in Romania, has leased a total area of 22,000 m², being 15,000 m² in Building C, and additionally a 7,000 m² outdoor platform. The building, which spans a total area of 35,000 m², holds a BREEAM Excellent green certification and is in accordance with the EU Taxonomy, ensuring low resource consumption and high energy efficiency. The strategic positioning of the park, offering in total 180,000 m² of lettable space, will enable the brewer to optimize loading times and accelerate the flow from production to distribution.
Automotive Retailer ePiesa Secures 8,000 m² at the new VGP Park Bucharest 2
At the same time, ePiesa, one of the largest online retailers of automotive parts and accessories in Romania, has selected the new VGP Park Bucharest 2 for its major logistical expansion, starting with a 8,000 m² leasable building. Strategically located at the intersection of the A2 highway and the Bucharest Ring Road, the park features premium technical specifications (12 m clear height, 7 t/m² floor load capacity, heat pumps) and targets a BREEAM Outstanding green certification, the highest level in its segment, as well as compliance to the EU Taxonomy.
Both parks are built based on modern energy efficiency standards, focusing on reduced resource consumption, green BREEAM certifications and compliance to the EU Taxonomy. VGP Park Brașov serves as an ideal logistic hub for regional production and distribution, while the new VGP Park Bucharest 2, with a development potential of over 114,000 m² of modern logistics spaces, is fully optimized for urban distribution and rapid connections to the Port of Constanța.
