Antwerp, Belgium, 4 February 2020 – VGP NV (‘VGP’ or ‘the Company’), a leading European provider of high-quality logistics and semi-industrial real estate, is pleased to announce that Ahold Delhaize has chosen VGP Park Nijmegen as the location for its new Albert Heijn Home Shop Center (HSC).
The new building, which is currently under development, is part of the first construction phase of VGP Park Nijmegen. The new HSC, which will be Breeam Very Good certified, will provide approximately 21,000 m2 of warehouse space. In addition, it will provide 2,700 m2 of office space. The new Home Shop Center will employ circa 1,000 people who will collect and deliver 40,000 orders per week to customers in the East Netherlands region.
