October 6, 2026, Rostock/Düsseldorf, Germany: VGP, a European owner, operator, and developer of high-quality logistics and light industrial properties, as well as a provider of renewable energy solutions, has secured Nagel-Group Logistics SE as another tenant for VGP Park Rostock. The company has signed a long-term lease for approximately 10,600 m² of space in Hall C for warehousing and logistics activities in the food sector.

“With our new logistics property in Rostock, we are expanding our capacity in northern Germany and laying the groundwork to support our customers with even greater flexibility and reliability. The direct connection to the A19 and the modern facilities provide the ideal conditions for this”, says Achim Sinn, Regional Manager for the Northeast at the Nagel Group.

On a site covering approximately 100,000 m², VGP Park Rostock is developing about 50,000 m² of leasable space for logistics, industrial, and commercial uses. With the Nagel Group, VGP Park Rostock has gained another prominent tenant. Other tenants include Winkler, a wholesaler of commercial vehicle replacement parts; the Institute for Medical Diagnostics (IMD); and Nordex, a manufacturer of onshore wind turbines.

The buildings at VGP Park Rostock are being constructed using a flexible, modular design in accordance with modern quality and sustainability standards. Halls A and C have already been completed and are certified to the DGNB Gold Standard. They thus meet high standards for sustainable construction. The sustainability concept includes rooftop solar panels and charging infrastructure for electric vehicles. In addition to custom-designed rental spaces for large companies, VGP Park also offers smaller units starting at approximately 1,000 m².

The VGP Park Rostock is located on the outskirts of the Hanseatic city of Rostock, the economic center of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania with more than 200,000 residents. Thanks to its location directly on the E55/B19, the park offers excellent access to downtown Rostock as well as to the region’s major transportation routes. Its proximity to the Port of Rostock, one of Germany’s most important seaports, creates ideal conditions for commercial and logistics companies.

The VGP Group has 45 locations in Germany and operates in 18 European countries. The family-owned company is headquartered in Antwerp, Belgium, and operates a total of more than 140 parks throughout Europe.
