Düsseldorf, 12 September 2022 – VGP NV (“VGP” or “the Company”), a European provider of high-quality logistics and commercial real estate, announces that it has secured Schenker Deutschland AG as an anchor tenant for its VGP Park Rostock. The logistics provider has leased a total of around 11,000 m² on 1 July 2022.
The park is located on the outskirts of Rostock, which is the economic centre of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern with over 200,000 inhabitants. Thanks to its convenient location directly on the E55/B19, the park offers very good access to Rostock’s city centre and the main transport routes relevant to the region. In total, VGP Park Rostock offers more than 100,000 m² of space for logistics, industrial and commercial activities; DB Schenker has now leased around 10,000 m² for storage purposes as well as 1,000 m² of office space for warehousing and handling activities.
