VGP lays foundation for new KraussMaffei Technologies headquarters in Parsdorf. Handover of keys planned for autumn 2022.

Munich, 11.09.2020 – VGP, a leading European provider of high-quality logistics and semi-industrial real estate together with the KraussMaffei Group, today laid the foundation stone for the construction of the new corporate headquarter and a new factory for the 182-year-old Munich-based company.

KraussMaffei Technologies GmbH plans to start moving from Munich-Allach to Parsdorf/Municipality of Vaterstetten east of Munich in November 2022.

Roland Weigert, State Secretary in the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy, Leonhard Spitzauer, First Mayor of Vaterstetten, Jan Van Geet, CEO of VGP, and Dr. Michael Ruf, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the KraussMaffei Group, met on the construction site of the newly created VGP Park in Munich to lay the foundation stone. The construction work is progressing on schedule.

The VGP Park in Munich is located on an area of around 40 hectares and, in addition to the new headquarters of KraussMaffei Technologies GmbH from autumn 2022, which paves the way for further renewal of the company, will also house a logistics site for the BMW Group.
