Noáin (Pamplona, Navarre)/Barcelona, December 22, 2025 – VGP Group, a European provider of high-quality logistics and semi-industrial real estate, has welcomed MOBIS Spain to VGP Park Pamplona Noáin following 11 months of construction works, completed one month ahead of the contractual schedule. The building houses a high-quality, sustainable and energy-efficient battery assembly plant for MOBIS Spain Electrified Powertrain S.L.U., part of Hyundai Mobis, the global mobility solutions provider headquartered in South Korea.

With a built area of 50,000 square metres on a 147,700-square-metre plot, VGP Park Pamplona Noáin is located in the municipality of Noáin, 10 km from Pamplona, the capital of Navarre. This industrial building at VGP Park Pamplona Noáin will be used for the assembly of high-voltage (HV) battery cells for an electric vehicle platform.

VGP Park Pamplona Noáin features modules dedicated to material storage, robotised assembly lines, production warehouses, as well as service areas, production offices and approximately 2,000 square metres of corporate offices. In addition, it incorporates advanced robotics and logistics technologies and is the first VGP building in Spain to obtain the BREEAM Outstanding rating, the highest environmental and quality certification.

The landscaping of the park’s internal development has been designed in line with biodiversity preservation criteria, including the planting of native species and the creation of insect hotels and bat shelters, among other measures. The building’s roof also hosts a 600 kWp photovoltaic power plant.

A benchmark for the sustainable mobility industry

The project has received strong support from the Government of Navarre, through its public entities Sodena and Nasuvinsa, and aligns with the strategic objective of locating the entire electric vehicle value chain within the region. The close collaboration and support of the Noáin Town Council is also noteworthy, as its contribution has been fundamental to the development of VGP Park Pamplona Noáin.

VGP Park Pamplona Noáin strengthens the region’s socioeconomic landscape. Moreover, battery assembly at the plant not only boosts local logistics and industry, but also promotes sustainable mobility throughout Spain.

As with ongoing projects in other VGP parks across Europe –where VGP is developing the infrastructure and environment required to foster technological investment–, this project illustrates the growing wave of industrial investment in Europe. Particularly notable is the strong interest in industries linked to sustainable mobility and the energy transition, which signal a fundamental shift towards a more sustainable future.
