Strategically positioned at the intersection of several important European roads (A1 motorway, E671 North-South axis, E68 in East-West direction), Arad is the most important road junction in the West of the countrand lies within the Pan-European Transport Corridor IV. The proximity of the western border of the country and connectivity to the modern European road network support the region’s development and draw the interest of investors. Arad is the main western gate for road and railway access to Romania.
