VGP welcomes Areatrans at VGP Park San Fernando de Henares, advised by Savills

• The pan-European logistics and industrial real estate company VGP reaches an agreement with the transportation services company Areatrans, for the lease of a 5,165 square meter building in VGP Park San Fernando de Henares

Barcelona/Madrid, 11 may 2023.- The pan-European company VGP, owner, manager and developer of high-quality logistics and industrial properties, has rented an independent building in VGP Park San Fernando de Henares to the transport services company Areatrans, in a commercial operation advised by Savills. The total rented area amounts to 5,165 square meters, distributed between 4,608 square meters of warehouse -with 7 loading docks- and 556 square meters of offices.

Located in the strategic town of San Fernando de Henares, just 15 km northeast of Madrid, the VGP Park San Fernando de Henares logistics and industrial park has a constructed area of 117,035 square meters (on a 222,712 square meter plot) and 8 state-of-the-art buildings. In addition to Areatrans, the park also houses the companies Bomi Group, ThyssenKrupp, Rhenus, Noatum, Logwin Solutions, Huawei, Paack and DSV.

Like all VGP logistics and industrial projects, the building that the transport operator occupies is based on the construction and leasing of sustainable and energy-efficient business parks. In addition, it is certified with the BREEAM Very Good energy efficiency seal. Among other measures, the warehouse uses 100% renewable energy and has state of the art energy technologies, such as the generation of hot water in offices through energy reuse systems, water reduction in all sanitary fixtures and LED technology lighting.
