RTR-TRANSPORT A LOGISTIKA moves to new premises in VGP Park Ústí nad Labem City

Press Release

18th November 2024, Prague: VGP, the owner, manager, and developer of semi-industrial and logistics real estate has reached another important milestone at its VGP Park Ústí nad Labem City. In recent days, it has successfully completed building B and handed it over to RTR-TRANSPORT A LOGISTIKA. That company has leased more than 10,700 m² of warehouse and administrative space out of the newly completed premises’ total 29,000 m². The hall meets high environmental standards and is striving to obtain BREEAM Excellent sustainability certification.

The logistics complex benefits from its strategic location in the city's intramural area near a public transport stop and just two kilometres from the D8 motorway connecting Prague with Dresden, Germany. Its proximity to the city centre and easy accessibility to end customers makes the location ideal for distribution of goods within the Ústí nad Labem region and for last-mile logistics. The metropolis, with its rich industrial tradition and availability of skilled labour, is an attractive location for conducting business.

RTR-TRANSPORT A LOGISTIKA has been providing comprehensive logistics services with its own fleet of trucks since 1991. It employs more than 100 people and has extensive facilities with a total warehouse area of 20,000 m².

VGP Park Ústí nad Labem City is being built on a revitalised brownfield site of 11 hectares not far from the city centre. The project comprises a total of 3 halls with more than 52,000 m² of leasable area. The first, hall A, already has been fully occupied by Exyte Technology and Bosal Aftermarket Europe. The just completed hall B has now been handed over to RTR-TRANSPORT A LOGISTIKA. The park offers remaining 18,700 m2 for lease. Construction of the last, hall C, is ongoing. The park offers excellent transport accessibility: the city centre is just a 3-minute drive away, the train station is a 5-minute walk, and several public transport stops are located close by. The project also includes ecological features, such as a green façade, water retention tank, and insect hotel.
