The VGP Park in Berlin-Ludwigsfelde has new tenants. Global real estate service provider CBRE negotiated an agreement with DefShop GmbH to sign a lease for 20,000 square meters of warehouse- and 700 square meters of office space. Founded in 2006, the company is now one of the largest online distributors of streetwear. The lease began July 1, 2018.

Frankfurt-based LILLYDOO GmbH had already moved in to 6,000 square meters of available space at the end of June. LILLYDOO produces and distributes baby care products like diapers, wet wipes and changing mats. The company prides itself on using sustainable, high-quality, skin-sensitive materials. Their products can be purchased in seven different countries and can also be purchased online using a user-friendly subscription service. The space rented by LILLYDOO also offers an expansion area of about 3,400 square meters, which is being developed over the next few months.

The sporting goods manufacturer Decathlon has also opted for VGP Park Berlin: construction for a new logistics centre with a total warehouse and office space of approx. 45,000 square metres has recently started. From spring 2020, Decathlon will control the distribution of goods for the entire north-east of Germany from here.

The VGP Park Berlin is located in the Parkallee in Ludwigsfelde, in the heart of the industrial area known as Brandenburg Park. Real estate was purchased and developed on a speculative basis. Brandenburg Park stands out thanks to its central, conveniently situated location with premium access to roadways and public transportation. The B101 and the Berliner Ring are both in the immediate vicinity, providing a simple connection to downtown Berlin. In total, 160,000 square meters of logistical space have been developed on the 34-hectare park. Lidl, a major grocery retailer, has been a primary occupant with a 54,000 square meter facility used for online distribution.
