About project

VGP Park Hamburg is situated in Rade, a mere 20 km southwest from Hamburg. It is located at a strategically positioned transport junction on the A1 highway from Hamburg to Bremen. The park will offer up to 257,000 m2 of semi-industrial premises suitable for logistics, industrial and commercial activities.

The location offers opportunities for cost savings in comparison to other areas at the port of Hamburg or in the centre of the city. It allows easy access to all main roads: the A1 to Bremen, A7 to Hannover, A24 to Berlin, as well as the A21 and A20 to Travemünde/Lübeck and Rostock without encountering such obstacles of Hamburg's inner city as the Elbe Tunnel and the cross-harbour link road (Köhlbrand Bridge). The connection from Container Terminal Altenwerder to VGP Park Hamburg is not slowed by traffic lights.
